Dear Sid:

I am out in your little house waiting for the morning temper of Mrs. B. to burn itself off. We got up at 7.30, which was an outrage for her notions of Sunday morning slumbering. I think we shall manage, tho, as there are only 4 more days before she leaves. She intends to spend Monday in town. Maybe I can go Tuesday, and Wednesday should be easy for her with her notion of leaving shortly. So if I stay out here at critical times, today, we may pull thru without any volcanic eruptions. 

Doris an I are planning to tackle the hay crop this morning after it dries up. We had a cloudy day with mutterings of thunder
