Sunday 9 Sept 1945
Stoughton Mass

Dear Sid:

Our temp. has fallen, after 2 very hot days. How about you? I hope you & Richard have had a nice day.

Doris is going to the Fair Tues. A.M. Otherwise we have no engagements. We sent off 2 boxes via R.R. Express Sat. AM. Have 2 more Tues. A box of books Parcel Post also yesterday. Gave the old cat another bath. Have burnt up the old rose bush trimmings & cleaned up your house.

We shall start Wed AM. as usual on the 9 o'clock train if we can get our baggage down. Byke [[bike]] has a puncture but Doris will get it fixed tomorrow, I hope. Have used up the roll of films this afternoon. Hope we can get more.

We'll be seeing you Wed. night.

Love Doris.
