Dear Sid:

Glad you & Richard can go to the beach, and hope you will drive easy. There must be lots of traffic there is here, regular mobs on holidays, they say. It has been hot today. I went swimming at York Pond this afternoon and did a little painting. Doris & I finished cleaning the kitchen walls today, - they look as if newly painted. Was over to see Maud tonight. She seemed poorly, had had a terrific headache most of the day. Called on Bertha Reynolds & mother on the way up from Glen Echo. Tomorrow we pack up some boxes to send back. The camera came & have taken some pictures today. Doris has gone over to see Mabel this evening. The old cat weighs a ton - he at least has gained. He has taken his evening bath & curled up on the camp stool for the night. I hope you are having enough to eat & go to bed early nights.

Love-
Doris.
