Upper Texas Coast
The city of Houston and Galveston Bay (1 & 2) dominate the upper coast of Texas. Beaumont is at 3 and Lake Charles at 4. Even though this view is wide angle and oblique, much detail shows up in landuse patterns and coastal waters (for example, the turbidity in Galveston Bay and Gulf of Mexico). (STS51C-143-013)
