El Salvador     El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua all share part of the Gulf of Fonseca coastline (right). San Salvador city, capital of El Salvador appears as a grey patch near the left margin between three lakes. The green areas around the city are all that remain of the once-continuous rainforest.
