What images are available?

before the mission:

- photos from previous KidSat flights 
- some scanned film photos taken by astronauts
- a link to EarthRISE, a database with over 100,000 photos of the earth taken by astronauts 
- some examples of what you can do with the images

during the mission:

this is where your photos will appear! (usually about two hours after they have been taken by the KidSat camera!)

after the mission:

all KidSat photos taken on the flight

What tools are available?

In addition to the images themselves, the data system provides tools to help you analyze the images, and information on how to use the tools.

 - tutorials, to teach you how to use the data system and its tools.
 - image manipulation, that includes enabling you to zoom in on images.
 - maps, to help you locate the image precisely, and view it in a geographical context.
 - NIH image, software that enables you to process and analyze images that you elect to download.
