Shuttle to Classroom

Images to Classroom-The pictures are all taken during the 45 minute daylight portion of the orbit.

4. During the nighttime portion of the orbit, the shuttle sends the images taken during that orbit down to the NASA Mission Control Center.

5. The Mission Control Center sends them via Internet to the KidSat data system at the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL).

6. JPL immediately posts the images on the World Wide Web. Your students can quickly access your images and those taken by students in other schools.
