After the Mission--One of the KidSat teachers reflected, "These students now have a whole new way of seeing the world. When they read or hear about some place in the world, its no longer an abstract location, it is a place that's real. Even if they haven't taken a KidSat picture of that particular location, the experience of KidSat makes the whole world more real for them."

Following the shuttle flight students have a set of images they can study to explore, for example, the area around their home, the cloud cover at different latitudes, document ice melting in the Great Lakes, follow the green line of spring, or compare surface and internal ocean waves.
