SUBMIT YOUR FINAL PROJECT(S) BY APRIL 15
WHAT IS A FINAL PROJECT?
A final Project Consists of two parts:

1)PRODUCT(S)
The nature of the product(s) will depend on the nature of the investigation(s), but some examples include:
•a guide to identifying different types of clouds in EarthKAM images
•a paper comparing two river deltas
•a poster explaining deforestation and the evidence seen for it in EarthKAM images
•a report on how an area has changed over time
•a guide to identifying and understanding the features seen in a specific image
**Final Products should contain images, including at least one KidSat/EarthKAM image**

2)COVER LETTER
Your final product(s) should be submitted with a cover letter which gives an overview of your investigation(s). Specifically, the cover letter should answer the following questions:
•What did you and your students investigate?
•How did you and your students do the investigation(s)?
•What were your findings?(Summarize them briefly.)
•What resources did you use? (This should include a list of the KidSat/EarthKAM images used.)

If you have done multiples investigations, you can submit multiple projects. Also, you may have more than one final product, and you can submit you or three with a single cover letter. Please, however, do not submit a separate product for each student or small team.

HOW SHOULD THE FINAL PRODUCT BE SUBMITTED?
By April 15, you need to submit your final project(s) to us by e-mail:
EarthKAM_FinalProject@TERC.edu

or by mail:
TERC
2067 Massachusetts Ave
Cambridge, MA 02140
Attn. Teon Edwards

Whenever possible, we would prefer that your projects be submitted electronically.

WHAT WILL BE DONE WITH THESE FINAL PROJECTS?
The final projects will be given to a team of scientists and educators, who will review the products and provide direct feedback to each classroom. These reviews will be sent out to you by May 15.

It is important that you understand that this is not a contest and not a test. We will provide feedback for every project submitted, and we will be acknowledging all your work with a certificate, a print of an image, or other such items. Also, several of the projects will be posted on the EarthKAM Web site for wider distribution.

Finally, the RFP and investigation process is an experiment for EarthKAM. Reviewing all of your submission, will help us refine and support the process in the future.
