[That All Changed ~ 14 months ago when Lou Dobbs abruply left CNN to form Space.com. His belief, which I share, is that the public's interest in (a Fassination for) space runs deep. When John Gleen returned to space, his Fut dominated the media for a  month — 
—> But nat'l media only covers the big events 
=>  lots of people are fascinated by Hubble S.T. Photos of exploding stars; By the possibility of primitive life in an underground ocean on 1 of moons of J; 4 by a weightless a astros doing somersaults in the space station —> but they can't get that info... [see this interest with popularity of movies like Apollo 13, The Right Stuff, Star Wars 4... yes.. Space Cowboys [The wonder & ADV. of space particularly resonates w/ KIDS
–> this deep-seated, but latent, interest is the opportunity /a space.com
[Though we started Primarily as an Internet Company, our strategy has been to expand rapidly into other media. We consider ourselves a Media co. focused on Space.
