Hear about
Effects that we're already seeing - (As this ^ in CO2 and air temp ripple thru Earth system)
-T of oceans has ^
-Melting of ice ~ Poles
Melting of glaciers around world reduced snow pack
-Rising sea level (warming H2O + influx)
-Shifting wx
* [[strikethrough]] More[[/strikethrough]] Less rain in some places (primarily deserts!)
* More rain in others (wet places)
-More intense rain/snow
-> All affecting ecosystems around planet
* Plants + animals are surprisingly well adapted to their local environment
Changes in T, rainfall, etc threaten them, + they have to adapt or move (or die)
-> Biologists + ecologists are seeing species slowly migrate N (or up mtns [mountains])

Some of these effects you can see from space, + some you can't => need to gather info from space, from air, in H2O (oceans), on land + develop models.... to understand and monitor

Lots of work for future scientists!
