The groves of tall trees standing in water &  thickly covered with snow were very fine. Some of the trunks showing dark with ivy and bunches of mistletoe through the veil of flakes.

One o'clock:
The sun has come out & is very grateful as this car is like an ice box. Other people with less wraps are more comfortable
