She was feeling better when she wrote to me, I am going over to see her this afternoon.  Don't let any one know that she had been ill, Joe it seems is not having as much luck as he would like.  Yvone says "He's got no luck on his side and I none on mine, what a rotten family eh? etc. etc.

I think she is feel pretty lonesome and blue, "But doesn't it feel like hell to be alone" etc is what she says.

I have not been feeling very lonesome as I'm busy with my work all day and at night I have been seeing quite a little of Spenchuck.  I think or I am beginning to think that it is wrong to form opinions to quickly, as I find that I like him much better than I expected too.  A fellow whom I knew but slightly at the Leage, [[league]] by the name of Moser and whom Gidon liked very much came over to Paris about a week ago.  I think that he will share my studio with me while he is here.  I hope he does as he's a fine clean
