He discribed the racial characteristics of the Anglo Saxon temperment, and Lincolns individual great qualities. It made me think so very much of you that I feel I know you better than I ever have before. I know you wont like me to speak of you in the same breath with Lincoln as you dont like praise, but that is a quality he also had. I'm not trying to say that you are a Lincoln, but your moral make up is very much alike. I dont know how I can show my appreciation to you in the matter of your consideration of me in your will. I will just say thank you. You will understand better my feelings if I do not say something more about it than if I should try to do so on paper. A feeling that is strong, if much talked about is sure to be belittled.

It is twelve oclock and Moser is in bed I'll write some more tomorrow before I mail
