I think I have received all your letters, I would if you have gotten all of mine, you do not mention any of them in yours, have written to you twice every week. What you say of my mother in your letter before this last one makes me feel very sorry for her. I wish that it will be possible for me to earn enough money soon so that I can help her to get a house in the country. In their last letter they say that they have not seen you for some time. It was a disappointment to them that they could not go up to your aunts on Washingtons birthday. I wish that you would please tell me how you find my mother and aunt. [[Margaret?]] never mentions much about them in her letters. I might just as well not have a letter from home as they are never intimate. I would like to be remembered to your aunt and the Davidsons. Also to Wheelook. Glad you both spent a pleasant day at Spiers. I'm sorry to hear that she is becoming a house Frau.
