She invited Mrs. Winkler and myself to dinner as her house. Mrs. W [[strikethrough]] de [[/strikethrough]] could not go so I went alone. I cant say that I felt entirely comfortable during dinner. You know how much of a talker I am and less of an entertainer. The only person there besides Mrs. Hyde was a Miss [[Rounay?]] who is a student of philosophy and has been a great deal in the east studying oriental religions, especially the new movement called Bahaism the universal religion. She speaks Persian and was interpreter for [[strikethrough]] Abdu'l baha. Baha'u'llah [[/strikethrough]] Baha'u'llah the master.

Mrs. Hyde took me to one of their meetings at the house of Mr. Hippolyte, who has written a book about Bahaism which I am reading now. He talked in
