John wants me to ask you to bring him "at least three pairs" of "espadrilles?" & Mae would like a couple of pairs if it will be convenient.    They are white canvas ties with rope soles. Enclose diagrams of soles; the shorter for Carlson.
 
I should be very glad to have some of the 25 centime soap & Ray wondered if you might be able to bring her a blanket such as I got at the Bon Marché.  It was a piece from a roll in the "cellerie", (sadlery) department and was about five franks a metre.

I remember I got one for you. None of these things must be brought if it is not convenient. My aunt wants a pair of wooden Sabots but I do not know the size except that it is the same as mine, which will not help you much. With Love G.M.J.
