Cherries are ripe. The birds have breakfast in the tree over my studio and drop the pits on the roof & the chipmunks & squirrels rase [[raise]] a racket.
 The noon sun seems very ardent to me, after Europe, & I can't bask in it enough. Rode to Lake hill yesterday on my bicycle to study the fine yoke of belted oxen you may remember seeing there & fell asleep in the pasture.
 It was realy [[really]] dinner time when I got up, but as one can coast all the way back I was hardly late. Fins skim through the valleys,
