This is a copy of the letter I have written to Macrum, I also enclose his letter for you to read more carefully. The only effect it has had on me is to think less of him and to think that it would be unjust to punish one who acts in ignorance: Tho in my head I think that most of his letter is pretentious. I am convinced that I do not care to have him as a friend.
