Dear Grace.

This has been a busy day for me so far and I still have many things to do before night, three of which are in the form of letters of which this is the first. After receiving your letter as a morning greeting I went to the Riverside Bank and opened an account. I met Mr. Mc.Kenzie there in which I was fortunate as I found it was necessary to have some one introduce me as I wanted to open an account with a check. At the League I met Carrie who asked for you and every one else several times and shook my hand with congratulatory remarks. She is still the same old cheerful, teasing Carrie.
