you about my plans. Last night I could not go to sleep thinking that my people might not be able to make enough off of the place to keep them going. If they don't, then I see where I shall leave a fight between my work and sympathy for them. Think that I shall spend a good bit of the winter here for several reasons. The country will be suitable for my work and I think it will please me more then than it does now, which is not a little. I can help to get things in order when I dont feel like working and to pay my board to them instead of someone else is also a reason. I understand that hunting is very good here and in the spring trout fishing excellent.

It would be fine if you will come to see me sometimes. I know that I will look you up often if you are not to distant. Do not think that I have given up the idea of spending some time at Woodstock and in the city.
