Dear Grace,
If you had known how very much I would have liked to have seen you, perhaps you would have come. I have practically wasted the last three days in doing nothing but waiting around in hopes that you might come. Went down to meet the train yesterday afternoon and today. you know that it will be at least two weeks [[strikethrough]] now [[/strikethrough]] before you will see me, for I will not get back from the cruise before then. When I do I will have to come here and get things

If you answer on receiving this you may be able to reach me at 471 W57 St. before I leave for P.

Transcription Notes:
Page 60 and 61 are identical, but there is a discrepancy on whether the last letter at the end of the letter is a P or a D. ==>Answer: I think it should be a "P" because in the rest of the letter, he speaks of Provincetown.
