in doing nude figures and expressed himself as being convinced that all such productions were worthless trash. He desires her to do drapped figures and considers such as being the highest expression in art. I of course disagreed with him in this and tryed to explain what it is that qualifies a work apart instead of the selection of the subject. I like him as much as I ever did and would like to know him better. 

How are you my friend? It wont be long I hope before I'll be with you again. It would be a pleasure to find you in Wurtsboro or arriving there on Wed. If all will go well now then I ought to be in Woodstock perhaps next Sat. Have a lot more to write but am very tired and it is almost time for the building to close. 

Expect to sleep at Mrs. Lewis'ses place tonight. Stayed at Smiths the last two.
