If this goes throu - and I know God is going to help them see the right in this matter - it will be a great thing for you & I and for Chicago too for that matter. I have put Mrs Young to work on the case & you must help too! On Friday Aldis told me that the Friends of American Art had decided to buy the original copy of my winged horse for the Art Ins. & that they would give me a thousand dollars for it. The Arts Club will not ask any commission on it - but I will have to give $130 - to Follsom Fine work - don't you think? But the Trust Co. have decided against me & for good - thats hard luck - There's nothing to do.

I received a check of $213.00 for the six new R.D. French is at 7.20 Monday it will either go up & continue to go up for some time or it will go down a bit. I shall send you a draft in any event on Tuesday - I engaged my passage on the Roschambe sailing March 8th

Mr. Aldis has asked me to share his cabin with him. We were all so happy to know that you had such an interesting trip - so long - my love - now that I know when I am sailing I feel much better. Your
John-
