Give you away! We had a very good visit. he taking down notes on some of my ideas on modern art + I getting the story of his life which has been a very full one so far. Will see again upon my return to N.Y. he sails the 22nd.

I found John here all alone, Lucy having left the day before for Palm Beach for a badly needed rest. We staid [[stayed]] up talking til 2 in the morning. I had to draw him [[peans?]] + pictures of Chantecaille by the dozen - they will visit us for a few days on their way back in Sept. The next day I had a good visit with Bosley & in the evening went to have the [[Flongaly?]] Quartet - - the day following I spent the afternoon at the museum & called on [[Reesia?]] who appologized [[apologized]] for the Paris affair. The following days have been spent calling on Elenor who has a nice little place & seems to be happy. Another day lunch here with Bosley & [[Parsonno?]] after the museum. Tea and dinner at the Harvard Club where we were joined by Robert Hellir [[(poit?)]] & after to the symphony concert which finished at ten o'clock! and very uninteresting program at that- Today - Sunday - I shall visit the Fogg Museum at Harvard & a dinner party tonight & tomorrow I leave for New York by the noon train- stopping off for a few hour to visit
