to see me & the show and made me stay two days more - paying the extra expenses - We came back yesterday on the same train & he promised to send me $300 within the next few days & I will send it right on to you-

So far I have sold nothing in my show although two people have promised to buy a couple of small things later on. (?) But with the people who know - all those whom I care anything about - my show has been a big success- But the tragedy is that the ones that know are the ones who have no money. McBride gave me a much better write up in the Herald than last time & I also had good notices in several other papers Miss [[D?]] did not do a thing about publicity before I arrived & so it is all very late - some of the magazines making up their copy one or two months beforehand. The Little Review has taken me to their discriminating heart. There next number which will be out next week would have been a special no. for me if they had known in time - they are both very wonderful girls to know & to have for friends - If they come over this summer they will stay for a while with us at Chantecaille I will send this off now & write again in a day or two - Solong dearest
