I didn't answer your letter before because I have been away, house hunting, for the summer. A tiresome job, but I was successful.

Sorry to say I can't meet you in Harrisburg because I have so much to do here getting ready to leave. I hoped you would not be starting west quite so soon because I expect to have to go to Philadelphia some time
