It's about time I wrote you, isn't it? but you know that, - etc etc, etc. _ _ you know the old standbye excuses, so won't bother to write them and waste the space.

I'm getting to be re-Americanized somewhat.  Can understand a good many of the latest slang phrases - not the very, very latest - from Chicago, only those of New York.  Expect to get on to them all in time - with the aid of ice cream parlors, a great invention here.
