I owe about seventy-five francs and if possible would like 100 francs I don't expect to go to Rouen as I had expected The weather has been so fine to work that I have been covering canvas most of the time and, as I can't get my letter cashed here, a money-order from you (when convenient for you) would help out a lot. Hornby called the other day and expects to put in a week or so here sketching. I have been chasing about with him the last two days and have done no painting but shall tomorrow and till I return. I am just getting into the spirit of thing's and really don't want to leave but shall for I want to paint the portrait of Recchia as I had planned to I may return here for a little while afterwards. I can't tell now. Hope he is feeling more reconciled to Paris and that you and he are at it this fine weather for it doesn't come often. Hope also to hear from you soon but don't hurry. Any time when you are going to the bank will be O.K. When I get it I will come up. Sincerely Smith.
