we are just beginning to have decent weather. have had a long and cold winter.

Thought perhaps you were waiting to hear from me explaining how we stand. Miss Lambert will be here thirty (30) weeks April 27, which amounts to fifteen dollars, and I said 2.25 for half payment for papering room, but I will make it the even $2.00, which make total seventeen dollars (17.00) you paid me (5.00) which leaves a balance of twelve dollars (12.00) untill April 27. I think you can understand. I have tried to make it plain.

Did I tell you Meades had gone away, they had a little rumpus again and she left him, they patched it up again and decided to go housekeeping so rented a flat out past Phila. and I rented their rooms again before they had their things out. Miss Lambert and I went to see the Opera "Louise" last Wednesday night, it was right good but we thought we had seen things we liked better. hope to hear from you very soon I am with best wishes

Yours truly
Catherine Taylor
