met your friend Miss Lambert and have taken her to see your studio which she likes immensely -- by the way I quite agree with you she is a very fine girl, a wholesome healthy minded type and a great pleasure to know -- I would like to see more of her. Last evening we went twice to see Mrs. [[?]] but failed to find her in so I invited our little friend to dine with me at our old haunt on Bouelvard [[Boulevard]] Raspail - after we took a long stroll down to the Seine and back, she is going to write you that we had a high old time.

I've finished four more reliefs besides some figure sketchs [[sketches]] that will be enlargd at home - at present am working on a bust and a workman with a sledgehammer.
