Dear John - I am immensely pleased at the news brought me by Marguerite's good letter, and have cabled something about the event to Chicago. It must all take his very impression. I hope to see that fine dummy as well as yourselves next time I am in Paris.

Here everything is relatively quiet, but there is still more work to do.

Have you been to see Lachman's exhibit by Georges Petit? It might interest you. He is having considerable success.
