I really can't tell you how much I like the picture, & I look forward to seeing some more of your work someday.

I gave Whistler 2 sittings as I passed through London & I really think he has done with me.  The picture is very good I think, & unlike anything else.  The canvass is smaller than your's being 20 X 38 - the figure full length.  He is very hopeful about Mrs Whistler just now & has taken a studio in London by the year
