We dont at all like the news in your last letter. Though you tell us that all the letters you get are most encouraging.

I can't imagine Edgehill with the little woman away at a hospital. I am nearing your age more and more every day and I always think of you as dear old fellow. I know that you suffer to have anyone but yourself ill and I wish I could be with you for a while to show you how I feel about you all.
