Then I met a Jim Fletcher who was at one of the Monday nights some time ago when I gave a talk, a very amiable robust individual.

John Gallenworthy is also a passenger, but we do not see much of him, but he may come out as we near the English coast.   There are about 920 1st class passengers aboard, quite a number of English families going home.

Then there is a group of about 90 Japanese going over to England from Japan, including a dainty little Jap wife of one of the group. They are rather clownish, but well bred.
