she (Marion) was kept quiet so much, & even in bed - she wanted to see what she could do in the modeling line- I have things done pretty much towards going to Maine- All the corners cleaned out in the studio & canvases put away nicely in big closet- & I have even washed the Sabatos rugs - 3 of them - & cleaned all the brasses. I will get the trunks up this afternoon - & put away the rugs & such things. Jerry is doing all right - but it is slow enough for him. He will go back to the hospital tonight or tomorrow- No one knows where you are- & I am getting to be a proficient liar! I think it is too mean - not being able to tell a word - and when your letters come into the Lovell P.O. & mine go out! Well Less will not be at any loss as to your present location! Belgium & Italy seem to be coming into line all right - and I hope no more upheavals are in store. Do tell me in your next letter - if the San Francisco medal in your tin box is a gold one? Jerry thought not- but I know you had been awarded a gold medal- The others are all safe- I attended to them- The gold Beck medal is in the box- You must address me to Center Lovell- I leave here the 14th. The Ipsens [[?]] left yesterday- I will keep you informed as to all our affairs in the Center- Am tired but perfectly well- I need things but I dare not spend a cent- Every bill is in & paid for but Sproul's - then I will know just where I stand- Do take the best of care of yourself- I hope the weather is fine over there & you are not getting chilly & forlorn. The best of love from Jerry & me- I still cannot realize that you are so far away- who hangs up your clothes!

Again love from
Mumsy
