My dearest Marion,

I went to the bank this morning for the purpose of sending you $300 in case you needed it and found your first letter of May 30th and really glad to get it and find that you were all well. I sent you a long 16 page letter last night so it's in print a P.S. enclosing a check. - You can send it to the cashier of the 5th Ave. bank. Cor. 44th St. & 5th Ave. N.E. and ask that it be deposited to the credit of S. A. Douglas Volk, on the back of the check you can write [[strikethrough]] "deposit [[/strikethrough]] "pay to the Fifth Ave. bank of New York - for deposit to the credit of S. A. Douglas Volk, Mrs. Douglas Volk.

Of course in your letter to the cashier, give your address, and ask if he will please make acknowledgement.

Naturally you could have this check cashed at any bank in
