June 4th

Weather cold, [[strikethrough]] at leth[[/strikethrough]] wore overcoat in room. 
At seven P.M. Mr. Croyer of the Legation called at the hotel, giving me a verbal message that I was asked to be at the Palace quarters of Col. Moncharet Aide de Camp of the King - at 4.30 tomorrow, a sitting from the King having been arranged for that time—

June 5th
Made some purchases, art materials etc. 
Left and at office to have a hotel taxi here at 4.15 - Got into my "afternoon" suit and made ready for the lst sitting from King Albert. 

Arrived at 14 Rue Brederode at 4.30 (as per instructions from Mr. Croyer), where I was to meet [[strikethrough]] Mr. [[/strikethrough]] Col. Moncharet, Aide de Camp.  Attendant said
