My dear girl,
I have just returned from luncheon with Mr. Armour Secretary of Legation and his wife, at their very charming house, the other guests were
the Consul General & wife, and Maj. Willard (U.S.) head of the military end of the Legation and of what U.S. forces there are here.

A messenger came up last night with the invitation, asking me to Lunch, and saying that they would like to hear about my sitting from the King, and of course I told them about it and they

I wrote you I think, about my 
first visit with Brad Whitlock,
who made all the arrangements with 
the King for sittings.
