Dearest Marion,

You would indeed have been wondrously interested if you could have followed me yesterday, and been present during the second sitting I had from the King, but you will have to fill in all the color your imagination can give to an inadequate and hasty description of the unique event.

I will roughly translate to start with a note I received the night before, from Mr. Whitlock which was written to him—

In the matter of your telephone communication yesterday. I am writing at the direction of the King, that his Majesty will receive
