George - & you may be already on your way to England or Wales - to do his portrait.   There was a Church supper last night - which we attended. A very poor supper at 50 cts- per! but I sat with the Lewldills & family & had such a good time with them.

The way things cost this year is a caution - I constantly count my pennies. I went to the store this A.M. with Marion's music - to send her by parcel post - it was going to cost over $6.00—  so I picked out a few pieces & sent - at $1.25—  & brought the rest of the music home - 

The Maraschis arrived yesterday - in their Buick - & are settled down at Mrs. Lym's - The Sloanes are not here - nor have I heard from her—  Mr. Wait expected them to be here by the 18th at the latest - Marion writes so happily from the new home at
