I like, and the rooms are decorated with daisies, so this is the picture that cheers me as I look out on the cold drizzle.

I have been working in the studio all the morning, and am certainly in luck to have such a wonderful place to work in. The furniture is more or less gorgeous but heavy and a little clumsy. The house throughout is quite elaborate, and there is such a "cunning" little tea garden in the rear. Had tea there the other evening with some

together, tend to brighten my heart in spite of all that's missing—  

I feel sure that you are now looking out on our beautiful lake, and of course you are thinking of me, and that too makes me feel better. You certainly have the advantage, nevertheless. For you have Jerry may be Wendell, and all the friends in and out of Hewnoaks to make the day gay for you, and I am sure Eva [[strikethrough illegible]] made the nicest kind of cake for you, the kind
