Anna was to go to night· but there is a R Road strike on - & she cannot leave - so it is our gain any way. 

The Burtons were here for Sunday supper last night - & we had such a nice visit with them—  Beppy played for us & the Doctor sang. 

Ez had to leave after supper - & go see Col. Church - who is very much weaker—   Ez used to go see him when he lived 15 miles away - but he is in Pasadena - now. & Ez can go to him
