taking up an other trail, I had to take the boat back, so it was an other day of the many waits & disappointments. I shall probably go over again in the morning, and locate the man if he is really there.  

Its about an hours run from here, but coming back it was decidedly tempestuous, nearly everyone was wet including myself from the waves which dashed over the little craft.  

If it is as rough tomorrow will probably postpone the trip. Dauville [[Deauville]] is an up to date watering place, very small, and the sort of a place I don't like, not to speak of the expense
