"Je suis toujours la p'tite Niniche"

145 Dartmouth St.
Boston

Dear Joe

As the above might indicate this is the "lendemain" of a "Judic". I've only seen her twice and probably shall go once next week, that will certainly be the extent of my spare cash. Not cash to spare though. She seems to me quite as charming as ever, and I came away last night a trifle sad and homesick, she recalls so many pleasant nights. Paris the boulevards the door of the Variete where we used to come out to smoke between acts and listen for the bell in the cafe alongside, and as I walked up Boylston Street with its prim elegance, strange and deserted with a gasthly electric light here and there, nothing bright nor familiar - E le bien enon c her j'ai en quelques regrets.
