a fellow named Lane did Iago rather well I thought but as its the first time I ever saw the play I've no means of judging. Viola Allen as Desdemona, pretty bad to my mind. have also seen the The Mikado at the new Hollis St Theatre, but it is far below the New York show. The stage business is quite commonplace seems to me - they have a better tenor however - The new theatre is very pretty, in fact I think all the Boston theatres are finer than those in New York.

Write to me soon and let me know how things are going. Try and overlook my driveling letters. My best regards to your family and also to the company.

Ever yr friend,
Dennis Bunker
