No corn yet. It is late this year. I don't know why. Weather has been favorable enough, except that perhaps it didn't get enough rain. But we shall probably have some now in a few days - corn not rain. 

Things are going on normally with us - workmen still in Paris & here. In fact here, they have scarcely more than commenced. Erik & his wife are with us - have been here a week and stay till the end of the month, then go home to Denmark. Otherwise there isn't much in the way of news.
 
Much love from us both & to Jesse when you write. The two letters I sent him were addressed to Tripied because I thought that safer. I did not think that he was home yet but
