Dear Henry:

Here we are in all kinds of temperatures. Day before yesterday when we waked up everything was covered with frost. Yesterday was as hot as* a good, warm July day. Today the thermometer started in at 12 (above, bien entendu) & is now near 20. But a cold wind is blowing, which does not seem to bother the thermometer. Yesterday was brght & sunny; today is overcast. We have had two hard all night rains but scarcely any rain in the day time. So you see there is weather to suit all tastes.
