My dear Emma & children.

Jim & I at last left Paris we report to a divisinol secetary [[divisional secretary]], not a very long ride from Paris then we staid [[stayed]] only over night where we were ordered to anoth Foyer about 20 miles away.  this Foyer was very swamped with work. on acount [[account]] of a grate [[great]] movement troop in that distric. our ride to that place was quite exciting. we first had to take a cammeron [[camión]], and then an Ambulence and finish up by riding in a livery truck. we just have our role up and a few necessary things with.  we are not likely to stay here long we get news here very quick, verbely. the Hospites around here have been quite full of all the allis  every evening we go to the statin and serve coffee & chockelt to many wonded, just from the front then the are put on the train and sent to Hospets over france, one of the most

the weather is still very wonderful. last night at the statin ther were a few scotch men wonded they had been in the fight all day and had lost most of the regiment. The old Bosch pay us a visit about every night. They hardly ever do any damage. one night a shell droped right in the center of a Y.M. suply depot, and done a grate hole in the ground and throug a lot of dirt over the groceries which made the Y man very mad indeed it took him a week to leavel out his floor again This afternoon will go with M Blanche to the Hospele.  There are two American Boys. They are bound to get mixed up when brough back from a fight. I saw them day befour yesterday ther are two American nurce in this one so that it is easy for the boys. Ther are quite a number [[strikethrough]] in this [[/strikethrough]] of hospeles in this locality.  You must be glad over the last newes. we have it quite fresh from the front but we do not take much stock
