it seams as though we have crossed a grate disent and even wasted [[pasted]] no mans land and of course the work and our suplies are wanted a thousand times more. wounds that can walk. From the frunt are for [[?]][[ever]] coming to our door it gives us pleasure as well as sadness to be able to help them. the other day two young soulder that I got to know quite well passed by the door several times in the mornig to and from the lines.  in the evening only one came back beng todely gassed with two others one helping the other on the dark road.  his chin was lost.  Since I knew them I have had the blews for a while.  I cannot go in to any detail about my work now and the special hapenings around here.  and if you should miss a letter it would be from the delay of the soulders gettig it to the post which is far away yesterday we gave out almos 5000 cups of chocolett to wounded & tird soulders.  ther are only 3 of us here and at [[montm?]] [[whne]] were [[?]] and gave out 2900 cups.  we though we [[?]] doing a grate days work we never close eat when we can.  I feel fine probely thinner but still on the top noch.
